Cooler?

Quick question, What is a good cooler for a C2D E6400? Bare in mind the PC is based in Spain so does get very warm.

Nothing to fancy - just a good solid, cheapish cooler!

Stock cooler...

Or what's your budget. If your not clocking then stock is fine that chip will not get that hot

A budget level Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 should do the trick. But you would also need decent case cooling- e.g. efficient fan(s) for venting the heat out of your case.

Nay the stock cooler isn't quiet good enough plus it has developed this annoying hum which no amount of cleaning/wd40 seems to sort out.

When I mentioned Spain, I'm talking ambient of 35+ (We live in an old finca - not the fancy villas with aircon) so the chip can reach as high as 55-60 on idle...

Anything up to 30quid max is my budget.

@Marine, I was eyeing that up as I see it in a lot of peoples rigs and it is on offer which I do like!
