Wasn't sure what sub-forum to post this in so thought I would post it here. and it's been a long time since I did a build.

At the moment I have attached PSU, Noctua fan, RAM, CPU to the mobo and attached it to the case.

All purchased fro OCUK.

I have three fans in the case and have bought two additional fans for it. However, there are so many fan sockets on the mobo, so do I have to use the molex connectors to connect fans?

I also have the fans that came with the case with two socket things on each fan - one a smaller fan to conenct to mobo and one to connect to molex I take it I can take one of these off each fan?

I also connecting the HDD lights and power switch cables to the mobo. Do I put the area with the small arrow on it to the + pin?

if you haven't enough fan headers on the motherboard then yeah you'll have to connect them via molex tho bear in mind that those fans will run at full speed all the time, maybe get a fan controller if ya wanna lower the speeds, or a speed reduction cable. as for the lead with the small arrow, yea i'm pretty sure thats the positive, would have to check my motherboard manual just to be 100% sure tho.
