i am intending on watercooling only my CPU but im running scared at the moment if im honest! any tips?? i have just bought the coolermaster aquagate MAX and have mounted it in my Cosmos S it looks sweet but i am not sure of pipes needed waterblocks etc could anyone point me in the right direction of these pipes ie sizes etc and water blocks i noticed some water blocks dont have the barbs on them do i buy these seperate or what is the storey?

thanks for reading

I'd personally get an EK Supreme LT, cheaper end of the market as far as waterblocks but performs very well.

Barbs you will need to buy seperatly and come in varying sizes. 1/2" barbs and 7/16" tubing is most commonly used due to providing a very tight fit.

ive been loking on coolermasters website and they say the barbs on the rad and res are 9.5 mm so all i need now is a link to what tubing to buy and also a waterblock that will fit my 1155 board the one supplied with the aquagate max i presume wont fit?

are they fixed barbs on the rad and res or can you change them?

The EK Supreme LT will fit your cpu however I'm unsure of the original block, even if it fits its likely to perform pretty poorly in all honesty

you can buy the optional back plate, however a lot of people use the existing backplate supplied with their board, its what im using with my XSPC Delta block.
