Hi guys.

Ok I'm about to buy a new case tomorrow (Coolermaster CM-690 II Advanced) and I was wondering if an ATI 5870 will fit in it ? Does anyone know ?

Regards....

It's one of the main reasons I'm upgrading my case to be honest. HDD vibrating noise. It drives me mad !! I really hope this case alleviates the problem. I'll be leaving the HDD bay in mate as I have 5 internal HDD's at present with a 6th coming soon. Soon as I'm happy with the wiring, I'll upload some pics for you to have a look at :)

Well I went and bought my new case today and I've spent all afternoon putting my system into it. I even bought 2 purple cold cathode tubes but I've not installed these yet due to them being UV and not purple as stated.

Here are a few pictures. Sorry for the image quality. They were done with my iPhone 4 and the light levels under the desk are crap.

Thanks mate. One thing I'd like to know is how I can go about turning the fan speed down on the front of the case. I've looked in my BIOS and can't really see anything in there so is there a program that can do this ?

Yeah it is so I'm thinking either getting another fan that's not as loud or getting a manual fan speed gadget that fits into the front of the case.

Anybody recommend a good quality fan (with lights hehe) that I can no hear at all ? I hate fan noise and this one that comes with the case is too loud :(

I'm really liking my new case tbh. I've put in two uv 12" cold cathoid tubes this morning and I'm about to go buy a small blue one and either a fan controler or a new quite fan, not sure yet.

Ravenger: Have you any pics of the insides mate ? :)

Well here is the almost final product. Just one more light to fit in, some more shrink tubing to go on, and my new side panel with a window but for now it's done.

To the OP. Your case is looking great! Easy to cable manage isnt it? I am in the process of "blinging" up my case but I cant decide if I want to go LED lighting or cathods...

Yes the cable managment is great. I'm really like the case overall. I'm even thinking of moving it up of the floor so I can see it better lol :D Yes ok I'm that sad :p

Powered by Jeantech!!!
