hi everyone

guys im on mission need ur help

im making 1st every rig im ordering my case next week i want to paint it

but im not sure of some things il will explain

i understand almost how to paint he case the does and dont's but im confused on one thing

that is after i sanded the alliumiuim and plastic and i have flatted it i have primer it and then sand it down down but do i wet sand it or dry sand it i know that once the paint goes on top that i have to wet sand it but im not sure about the premier bit.

i was thinking of using self etching primer and white enaymal paint but not sure what primer to use on the plastic hope u understand and can help sorry if i posted in wrong section

I suggest finding a nice white case instead of painting one. Will probably be cheaper then the cost of paint, sand paper, case, and not near as much work or mess.

I've not painted a case but I have spent a lot of time painting my fair share of fibreglass sculptures and car body work.....

You will have a devil of a job getting that case up to scratch if this is your first time painting.... and risk not being satisfied with the result.

Remember this case will be built and coated like a tank as it is.

I'm not one to discourage modding - but would be wary of this if I were you!

thanx guys for your advice but i ve done lot research to it and there nothing to it it doesnt cost £ 150 i can spray the case less then £ 50.

andy there two materials on the surface of the case plastic and aluminum i think the 400 grit should be ok scratching the surface. im going to use the plastic primer which just stick it nicely.
