Perhaps a daft question, but here it is anyway.

My new rig is getting assembled on Friday, but I've just discovered tonight that one of the latches which the lock the mobo tray in is damaged on my existing case that I planned to use, a Stacker 830.

I've been looking at the Cosmos S and it says something about needing 14.5cm of clearance between the CPU cooler and the side fan. As I'm only going to be using the stock i7 cooler, is there someone that would be able to confirm if it will clear correctly?

Cheers.

It will fit in with no problems at all. My old Noctua had no problems fitting in and that was considerably larger than a stock cooler.

Petrarch sorry to change the subject, but the stacker 830 you have.
Does the motherboard tray have watercooling holes?

Cheers folks, the order is in, though had to go elsewhere to make sure it gets here by Thursday.

As to there being holes in the tray for watercooling, I've long since lost the manual for it, but there's no holes on the back panel and I don't recall there being any holes in the tray itself other than for the mounting screws. This one is one of the first versions though, so I can't vouch for any later revisions that may have been added.
