Does anyone know where it may be possible to get hold of a 5 1/4 drive bay plate for a silver coolermaster 201 case, got a hole in mine from where i removed a cd drive and its annoying me :p

You can try contacting coolermaster through there website, although the customer support gods would be smiling down on you if they even replied.

It is what I did 8 months ago when I got the last lot of ATCs gear of them.

Either that or see if a forum member has something apropriate, a post in the wanted section of MM maybe.

Any chance of posting the person who replied to your emails address please?

If you get a direct contact it is usually much less hassle, the trouble is getting to the contact!

Thing is, i have lost the contact details!! I formatted my PC and did not save some files!! Just so happens that Coolermaster contact was one of the ones lost!! Sorry

Ive used it, through a contact in the Netherlands, but they keep changing the man to contact about the old ATCs cases. Why I asked for the contact details. :)

i've had success with Robby at coolermaster holland when i needed some replacement motherboard standoffs.

Then i think it was Ron who took over, when trying to get the parts i needed he wasn't much help, then it was Roy after about 3 months of emails back and forth to Ron & Roy i got the bits i needed for the 111

I think Yewen had success with robby as well.

They don't have much in the way of spare parts for the older cases now, I've tried getting a couple of bits for a 201 recently but was told they didn't have any left.

Anyway i've emailed the OP and offered a spare bezel that i have.

I also had a quick (for Coolermaster ;) ) reply from Robby a couple of weeks ago when requesting screws and stand-offs. He's probably your best bet at the moment.

Forgive me for being thick, but is a standoff not just a standoff and other than the funny ones which lianli and some old CM cases use they are all the same.

You either get screw in ones which are usually brass, and then you screw into them.

You can also get clip in ones with you screw into.

However you can get plastic ones which you push the motherboard onto then it is held in place.

Different sizes of each, but those three are the only ones I have enountered.

The ones i needed were for the 201 which are the square style, that fits onto a square hole in the motherboard. The newer cooler master cases have the more usual standoffs
