That is one massive cooler, especially with 2x 120mm fans on top, you will need a lot of room in your case to pack one of those in :eek:

The cooler is compatible with both LGA775 and Socket 939, but it is uncertain whether it will also be able to cool-down Socket AM2 processors at this point.

I hope they just meen its an imcompatible socket!

Surely there'd be a lot of wasted airflow with the edges of the fans hanging over the edge of the heatsink.

i doubt it would be any better than the arctic freezer 7 or 64 pro coolers or even coolermasters own hyper 6+ cooler as these all blow hot air from the cpu straight out of the case
