I'm just looking for a bit of help here, just received it and tried to install but as per normal with me nothing goes as its suppose to.. I removed stock cooler, tried to place the TX2 in but it's having none of it. I thought when i bought it i wouldn't have to remove the MB as said in product description ". It is suitable for instant assembly/disassembly without removing the motherboard " Yea right, there is noway the pushpins are gonna fit where the stock HSF fitted. So my question is, am i going to have to remove my MB to remove the stock mounting brackets or as said in the description will it fit without removing the MB ?

Yep i'm using the correct brackets, but the pushpins are too big to fit into the stock mounting, which is said i wouldn't have to remove to fit.

What motherboard is it? Just trying to figure out why as there is a standard for it. And the pushpins look like the standard Intel pushpin fittings.

Not quite sure, it's my dads pre-built computer its an acer e700. I'll try and find what Mb it is.
Edit - All CPU-z says is model FG965M

Im assuming you are swopping out the stock intel cooler, can you take the pushpins from the original cooler and compare / swap them on the coolermaster? It is possible to take them off.

yep, swopping out stock intel cooler. Just noticed i hadn't removed the stock back mounting bracket (screws in), so looks like i'm gonna have to remove the MB
