As above really - I have the following PSU

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-146-CM&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=

At some point within the next month or so I will be buying a Dell 3008 monitor. Ideally I will be gaming on this @ 2560 x 1600.

I want to buy some new graphics cards. I have not decided on the cards yet - maybe 8800GTX, maybe 9800GTX, maybe nothing for the time being - GT200??? either way due to the resolution I will be running I would like to go with 3 of them (From what I have read this resolution seems to be the only one to make 3 way SLi worthwhile).

Will my PSU be up to the job?? I know it can deliver the appropriate current/volts but it's the connections I am concerned about.

It has 2 PCI-E x 6 pin and 2 PCI-E x 8 pin, could the 3rd be powered off molex with appropriate PCI-E adapters.

My current PSU powers exactly what is in my sig - with 4 HDD, 1 Optical Drive - I am currently not using any Molex connections at all - all fans are fed off my mobo directly.

Will it work or will I need another PSU (Either another single PSU or a second one)

I do not want to get into an flaming debate regarding 3 way SLi, that is not why I started the thread - Will it work??????

Cheers

D
