Hi all,

Thinking about getting this case to move my current MATX rig to in preparation for the launch of the RTX3000 series. My curent case (Raijintek Styx) is a bit awkward and because I use a full size PSU - Corsair HX850 (150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 180mm(L)), I have always had to use mini GPUs like my current Zotac GTX 1070 mini.

Does anyone know if I got this case (CoolerMaster MasterBox Q300L)
a) Is the PSU fully compatible with this case?
b) Would I be able to use a full sized GPU (say 320 mm in length) without interferece?

The only thing I have managed to find is a Reddit thread where someone possibly (representing Coolermaster) suggests that a 180 mm PSU will fit fine.

Yeh I saw that early on in my search, but you never know so wanted to see the actual fit as it is 20mm (and seems to be proven by posted pics).

Interestingly they seem to underestimate the PSU and overestimate the graphics card (again based on the pictures). I can't see a 360mm GPU fitting.

Thanks for this. This one in particular seems to suggest I'll be okay. Much appreciated. A couple of mm shouldn't change things too much unless there is some sort of bracket inside that stops you?

The CX550M is only about 145/150mm long so you'll need to factor in an extra 3 cm or so for a longer 180mm PSU. I've checked the case and can't see any sort of brackets that would stop it fitting but you will lose access to the 1st cable management hole.

The rear of the PSU doesn't sit flush with the back of the case - it's recessed by a CM or so which is why the CX550 is showing as 16cm but it's actually 15cm.

Ah thanks, 3mm it is.
Yeh I figured I would lose access to the first hole. Thanks for confirming, you have eased my mind, thank you.
The main thing was to creat space for my next GPU (so I don't have to get mini ones).

Case ordered.
