Coolermaster Masterliquid Sub-Zero (thermoelectric)

Definitely a market stunt. Intel hasn’t got anything in this super busy tech news cycle so they bribe Linus to throw out some junk video about some dead tech.

I know for sustained loads this is pointless (as temps are determined by your radiator's ability to get rid of heat), but this sounds fun. I hope a few more of these come out including for AMD.

As already said, marketing gimmick.

Peltier elements are extremely power hungry. This one uses a 6 + 2-pin PCIe power connector for power. Arctic says it uses up of 180w to power. They recommend using at least 850w high watt efficiency (at least gold plus) PSU.

The De8auer video makes this sound extremely promising!!! A 10900k at 5.8Ghz under load with temps of 41c???

Marketing gimmick? Probably as others have said Intel doesn't have an answer for Ryzen 5000 series stuff and probably ownt for some time. Yet if this is as efficient at cooling as the reviews suggest, power hungry or not this could really open things up for clock speeds for those of us who are not master overclockers with copious supplies of LN2.
