Coolermaster Nepton 240M

Yes, that's older. The Nepton 240M is newer, and superior from what I can see. Quieter fans with the Silencios vs the 280L. I don't know if they both use the same pump either, although they do look the same. Bigger rad on the 280 of course, but some of the review tests would indicate the 240M might be a better performer, but I've not seen a head to head comparison.
 
yup, its on my test bench atm. pump is a little louder than i would expect usually, but having spoken to CM this could be a fault with my sample. In a case it would probably be fine, its just that on a test bench at table hight its right in ear shot. Also this could be due to it being a test sample.
 
i think the rubber hose on the corsair and NZXT units is better, is this CM cooler had the rubber hose's then i would be interested in getting one as well.
 
The NZXT Kraken is a nice looking unit, but overpriced IMO. I can't see what you're paying for there exactly. Corsairs are good performers, although they need to bring together all the best bits of the H100/105/110 and put them in one unit! The rubber hoses can affect waterflow though, so that's the reason CM went with the FEP tubing. I don't mind them so much myself.
