Looking at this case as a replacement for my thermaltake xaser 111, Love my old thermal case its very light very big and very easy to work in.

Basically what i want to no is will this be a worth while upgrade, and can anyone tell me if the case is very quite as thats extremely important to me.
Ill be using a q6600 go with a tuniq tower couple of hard drives..

If anyone can give me info on this case it would be much appreciated :)
Is this the case for me or is there anything better for around the same price ?

Hey up,

Just bought one which im planning to install my water cooling kit in.

Will post pics and such when i get it, all should be here on monday.

:D

removable mobo tray isnt really an issue - just get on with it really. no hdd cooling indeed but overall an excellent case. I have had mine for a few months, really like it. Looks and feels really quality. Also quiet. Whatever you like I guess, obviously not everyone's cup of tea but it does float my boat.

removeable tray is a requirement for me on any case costing that money makes cleaning stuff so much easier not to mention cable management.

I didnt even bother with the removable tray on my lian li just got on with it, also never even once think I pulled out my removable tray on the Eclipse 62...

But guess were all using it differently, I had a chance to compare my Lian li A70B against my m8s cosmos side by side, both cases looked evenly matched, coolermaster no doubt had more to offer in terms of features and looks were pretty good, snappable drives that locked and the hdd caddies looked good bit little space from behind to do any decent cable managment but at least it had it. The soundproof padding looked tad weak but then I noticed it required 2 people to lift up his steel case so im guessing no noise is ever gonna escape that unit!

Cooling wise my Lian li easily won, but I think with the overall sizes of the case and if one got 1 or 2 scythe front bay 120mm coolers for a tenner the hdd cooling/system cooling is just as good on the cosmos.

Overall a lovely case, still unsure if I should get that or the new dominator 690 since both look very classy !
