hello, thinking of buying the aforementioned PSU, but don't seem to be able to find any comprehensive reviews online.

i'd like to know if any of you motley lot have used one and how you found it in comparison to more expensive PSUs (ie the corsair 520 (had this before but not looking to pay £80 for it this time ))

thanks in advance

Ive got one running my rig for over a year now and its great, not had any issues whatsoever even with overclocks of 4.8Ghz.

Hi vincent1989, for £63.24 you can't really go wrong and I'm sure you won't have any problems with it.

Something to take into account though is the Coolermaster Real Power 520w Modular Power Supply is slightly cheaper than the Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply because it isn't actually quite as powerful. The Coolermaster PSU can only supply a maximum of 34 amps of the +12Volt rail as opposed to the Corsair PSU which can supply a maximum of 40 amps of the +12Volt rail. :)

thanks for the info so far guys, think it looks like it might be alright to get then, if i can rummage up the £20 i'll be getting the corsair, but i am on a bit of a tight budget this time round :)

Ive got a 620W realpower and its a great PSU, i would highly reccomend it.

Thats powering my spec in sig, with 5x 120mm fans and 2x 92mm fans, 4 cathodes, pump, the lot!
