Hello

I'm debating over these two cases to replace my Antec Fusion Max

Which case do you think is best? pro/cons?

I like the look of the both of them, I just can't decide

Enforcer. Nice features clinch it for me, usb 3.0 internally done which is nice. Plus the 7+1 pci slots on the back, on of them is usefull for a fan controller or whatever :) Plus i think it looks beast

I will say enforcer too. Number of reasons:

Better looking
Better cable management
Bit bigger inside
Nice windowed side
USB 3.0

Cons:

More expensive
Not great cooling (no side fans)
No top fans included. Will have to get your own for that. Either 120mm or 200mm.
That door!

It's up to you. I was looking in on these cases, but I am going down a different path and going with the Bit Fenix Shinboi Windowed Case. Cheaper, better cooling and looks nicer a bit. Their isn't a lot of red fans on it. Not a fan of red.

Their are a lot more fans on the Shinboi too. 2 at the front, one on the bottom and one on the side for intake! Plus one rear and 2 top fans. Which I will have to buy myself, but for the price of £57, I will not be complaining!

I had a scout once and in rl it is nasty and awful. Also not visually nearly as nice as in promo pictures.

Its also rather compact which might be a benefit to you.

You have a fusion max and you want to switch it for one of those two???? Are you feeling OK??? (2nd if I had to choose one) But seriously an Antec Fusion Max is much nicer.

I'll see how it is tomorrow, if I don't like it I can always send it back...

Yeah i do like the Antec but it's my main gaming rig and just isn't the right style for a gaming rig in my mind, i want to have a side window and lights lol

I've got the other Antec Fusion 430 in the living room so that serves it's purpose as a HTPC.

The only real competition these cases have in terms of looks, cable management and features I think are the Shinboi Windowed, Antec 902 and HAF cases.

Some pics??? Also, how have you done the cable management with no cable routing???

There is one hole next to the PSU to put cables through, but no where else to bring them back into the case without pushing them around the drive bays, which in my mind is a very poor design:

Would love to see how you get it nice and tidy The Enforcer is much better for it than the Scout!

Will post pics soon, Blackberry internet is playing up and i can't email pictures via my phone, and i don't know where my Camera is, I'll put a few on sd card shortly.

The cable management is not bad actually, It has got a hole next to the PSU, but there are more holes going up round the back of the case, behind the motherboard, heres a couple i found on the web:

Looks decent then, but a bit of hard work is needed to get it like that it looks like!

I'm going with the Shinboi! Better looks me thinks xD

It's actually got a good cable management system, i thought it would be difficult, it really isn't, going to be buying a modular PSU soon so it'll look better, with black sleeving for the wires.

It really is a decent case though for the price, very sturdy and strong, look sleek as well in the flesh.

Will post pics asap.

Ok here are some pics, sorry about quality my blackberry torch camera is TURD!

Got to get the digi cam back off the mrs at some point!

My PSU doesn't do me justice it's wiring is below par.

Going to redo the cables in a while, but really i need to order a new psu.

Thanks :)

I've got two Enermax UCCL12's to go on the side just waiting for delivery.

Temps are better than the Antec Fusion Max in this one, idle i get around 25c done a series of intel burn tests and never gone over 55c and full use of RAM

GPU is around 26c full load doesn't go over 60c, very happy :)
