Coolermaster V8 Temps

Seems to be a pretty good cooler, the v8, using 1.512vcore on my quad @3.8ghz under a TRUE black, im getting 68 on two cores and 62 on the other two, with 2x2000 rpm fans, id like to have pushed it a bit more, but i think im at the limit of my cooler and fans ability to cope with the heat load.

Nah, temps are fine for that setup. They are maxed @ 100. And you are far from that. You cpu will most likely NEVER reach those temps gaming as gaming rarely uses more than 2 cores, and even ones that use more will not max them out. If you are just gaming/music/media you should never see them get that high.

ok am running at 180 mult 21 and my clock are on 3780mhz max temp 74 at full load useing prime 95 for 15 min. 1.22 crash so i need high the vcore to 125 seen ok now still testing it at that clock speed
 
Sounds like you are getting close to that 3.8 everyone is getting with the v8. your ram speed should already be over 1333mhz with that overclock as well. I really noticed a big difference in game load times when I pushed to 183. My ram was 1460mhz at that point and gta iv only went through 2 pics during the load screen where I use to sit through 7-10 and on my old setup much longer than that.

btw- I want to add that a powerful exhuast fan will help cool your load temps. I bought a silverstone 120mm, 110cfm, and it lowered my load temps about 6c. I was getting lower 80's with this setup before the fan, and now never 75c. So keep that in mind also. Your at the point now where every little 2c here and 4c there will help.
