The stock fan for my Athlon XP 2400+ Socket A has gone kaput. Will this replacement do the job? £22.49 pre-owned from ********** (apparently meaning 'just opened' according to the salesperson).

will do the job fine but you could have got the TT Big Typhoon Brand New for the same money. Better cooler
