So basically for my new build im going with a new case, my current case is the Thermaltake Armor, its a nice case, but after looking at it for 5 years its time for a change.

The CM RC-1100 Cosmos S got some great reviews, but people said cable routing can be an issue due to its small space behind the motherboard tray, also some complained there was no reset switch on the case ( how big of an issue could this be )

For the other cases, ive been looking at the Lian Li cases, some of them are very sleek looking, and have some great reviews aswell, ive also seen that some members on the forums have them and cable routing allows for awesome airflow, but what one is better

Lian Li PC-A71FB

or
Lian Li PC-A77FB

The A77 seems to have a more open front on it, does this increase the noise from the case a lot.

Suggestions?

You cant really compaire the Cosmos to those Lian Li's they are a lot newer cases, I would recommend the ATCS840 if you havent yet looked at it m8.

I'm getting a new PC this week and I had 3 cases in mind when deciding what I was going to build. Factors I was looking at were Airflow/Styling/Cable Management.

The three that I was torn between were the CM 690II Advanced, CM Storm Scout, and NZXT Phantom.

all have amazing cable management by the looks of it, but in the end I settled for the NZXT as it was the prettiest of the three cases for me :D

I've been looking into getting either the a77fb or a71. I like that the A77FB has USB and no door but I'm not really sure if it's worth the price difference.

Also reports saying that the fan cables are too short and don't reach the fan controller for the a77fb and I don't like blue led's :D

Do doors restrict airflow much?

I've had both brands of cases and would trust Coolermaster all the way.

I know each case is different but my Lian Li case was awful to heat and designed upside down, with the psu at the front.

If you can live with the looks I'd look at the cheaper cooler master HAF X what sort of budget do you have ?

Personally I wouldn't get any Lian li I think they are slightly outdated in terms of cooling most are 120mm fans only and lack good cable management around the motherboard tray.

I think you'd be more impressed with the haf x or a silverstone Ft02 I'd get the silver one around £170 though not sure blacks worth the extra money.

The coolermaster ACTS 840 isn't to be sniffed at either.
