Coolers compatible with 1660 GTX.

Looking for an aftermarket blower type cooler for a single fan 1660 GTX. Which ones would be compatible? Are the mounting holes the same as 1060 series?

Was looking at the Akasa Vortexx - the mounting holes are 53mm. Not sure about the precision of my measurements but they seem to be 52-53mm on the 1660

You may find a used one on the bay.

It will perform better in a small case as it will be an extra exhaust fan.

Where did you see that it's rated for cards of 84W TDP?? I am sure the AMD X19xx series were closer to 100W

Custom made case with compartment for GPU so a blower cooler or watercooling are the only options.

No compartment is air tight so even if you have only an exhaust vent you will not create a vacuum

If you think of the whole pc as one compartment (which it will be as the GPU will still be in the PC) there will be plenty of air from all the other to compensate for the lack of a dedicated vent.

Yes. Nothing about it being air tight. The reason for the blower cooler is to create negative pressure so air can move to that compartment from the case. An open style cooler will not work as efficiently as it will mostly recycle air around the GPU.
