Coolest gaming moment for you?

Beating bowser on SuperMarioWorld 2 Yoshi's Island in a mix of 2d and 3d, whole game was fantastic throughout and have great memories of my childhood playing it. They don't make them like the used to.:(
 
Winning various video game competitions, which my best friend also competed in, and we fought each other in the final to which I just won.

Final Fantasy 7 - Whole thing really

Castlevania SOTN - entire thing

Counter strike CZ (when I used to be pretty good) me and a friend I know real life almost killing an entire opposing team, (these guys were awesome players) he died, I almost took the last 4 out but after awping 3 of em the last one got me on the reload :( (I can't even aim now in the game I haven't played in so long!)

WoW - First moment I went in to Karazhan (since stopped playing it)

First playing on my spectrum back in the day, literally jumping back and forth between games.

Playing Revenge of Shinobi / Golden Axe / Streets of Rage on my Mega CD on the Mega games 5 pack, and just thinking how awesome it was.

I am sure there are tons of others, I will think and write some more down later :p
 
I know I'm forgetting loads, and I'd like to class entire games as "cool moments", but I'll try to restrain myself:

  • Pretty much the entirety of the Metal Gear Solid series, nothing but nothing is as awesome as that series.
  • Watching the main Assassin's Creed trailer for the first time and revelling in it's awesomeness.
  • Playing Assassin's Creed for the first time and revelling in the awesomeness.
  • Getting a Perfection award in a Halo 3 ranked playlist with 23 kills.
  • Every last little thing about KotoR, I don't think I've ever completed a game so many times before or since.
  • Sitting in the Agency Supercar on Crackdown, gunning down a ton of Shia-Gen when without warning the car gets destroyed by some random explosion. Before I had time to react and bail out of the vehicle, I discovered that I'd unlocked the Driving High achievement as a result of being blasted so high whilst still being in the car.
 
Started shooting at someone in CS:S but my clip was almost empty, so retreated into a tunnel. Realised I wouldn't have time to reload so with 1 round left in my clip decided to charge back out fully expecting to die.

See the guy running transversally (across my field of view) about 6-7m away, take a pot shot without even aiming and manage to headshot him.

That felt pretty good :cool:

As for more general gaming moments, Halo, Diablo II and Deus Ex are probably my most memorable games.
