Which of the available processors runs the coolest?
I am to build a PC using Lianli's new small form factor case, subject of a separate thread on these forums. The PC must be as quiet as possible, therefore I want to choose the processor that runs the coolest so that it needs less cooling = less noise.
I have a 478 pin Pentium that runs at 35c and also an AMD Socket A computer that runs at 50c. Is it still the case that Pentium runs cooler than AMD?
