Coolest running AM2 AMD cpu

I need a AM2 CPU, not too interested in speed, but it must be cool running because I want as less noise as possible.

Which cpu will fit the bill?

One of the E versions of X2 3800 was of very low power and was running very cool. Unfortunately I do not have the link.

Yeah AM2 has the energy efficient range, not sure if they're easily available however.

There's loads of the 65w cores available if they are the ones you mean. Cheap too for a dual core.

I think the energy efficient ones are 35W iirc.

In a recent review they were slightly worse than the 90 nm E X2 series.

It'll usually say 'EE' after it as in 'energy efficient'. I was on that site where you can buy and sell stuff earlier and they had some there

a link to this review? i have yet to find a single one anywhere...all i found was some forum with some dude saying they easily clock past 3.0Ghz but that was all i have seen floating around
