I have a Dell XPS 8930 which currently has a 1070 blower GPU in it. I managed to get a good deal on a 1080 Ti blower card but given how cramped the case is, I’m wondering if there’s anyway I can retrofit an AIO water cooling solution to the 1080 Ti?

I’m already considering a Corsair H60 for the CPU as that’s already been tried and tested to work in this case (with some minor tweaks).

I have a Kraken G12 + H55 in my mATX case for a 1080Ti.

Worked out pretty cheap.

Could use a low profile 120mm fan if that would help. You would need to use an Asetek cooler like the H55 though. Can get refurbed H55s for below £40 if you look around. Make sure you spend a fiver on ebay getting some low profile RAM heatsinks to stick everywhere.

Alternatively OCUK even sell new ready to go bundles for marginally more. Its quite a thick radiator though.

Be careful of the PSU wattage if it’s a Dell prebuilt system as they can ship with low wattage PSUs and also proprietary motherboard connectors. I suggest you check out the Dell support page, have the Service Tag from the machine handy.

Cmon surely get a Noctua Chromax?

Lol, I like the brown colours. Replacing the garish yellow RGB one on the radiator soon with one.

It's the older Evolv case with a small plastic window anyway. Without RGB you can't see anything inside.

Each to their own, they are amazing fans and I’ve ordered some in Black! What’s the cable running on the PSU shroud out of interest?

It's to run the radiator pump cable to the motherboard. Because the noctua cable is sleeved and stiff, I can rely on it to remain in place. Just me being lazy.

Yeah, it only comes with a 460w PSU. I’ve already got an EVGA 750 G+ to go in when I fit the card.

Shocking really as I don’t imagine it was a cheap system in the first place! I recently watched LTT’s secret shopper videos on prebuilt systems and it was shocking!

Ordered a G12 and H55. Should get them tomorrow, will see how I get on.

How much did the 1080Ti cost you out of interest?

I've been trying to source a blower card for a while with some warranty!

I sourced one of the auction site last week when they had their 15% code. Between the code and Nectar points, I got it for around £310. It’s pulled from a month old HP system so probably doesn’t come with a warranty per say. If it was £500+, I wouldn’t have risked it.
