Hi Peeps,

ordered one of the G0 Energy Efficient Q6600's from here a few weeks ago, hoping they get them soon.

As for cooling, will my Arctic Freezer 7 Pro be enough for it, or will I need summat better (hoping to clock to around 3ghz). My current E6600 runs at about 50C under full load.

Thanks

Well the ACF 7 Pro is a budget cooler and not really designed to cool Quad's although i doubt your be upping the vcore much if at all to achieve 3GHz so it might be ok plus these are meant to be running cooler.

Just try it out, if your ACF 7 Pro seems to be fine then stick with it, if not buy something like the Tuniq Tower, Noctua etc.

Try the AF7 Pro, the G0s are running cooler so it might be sufficient. If the load temps are too much, then upgrade to a thermalright 120 or tuniq tower.
