I'm looking into a new build for a graphic editing PC based on a i7 920 which I shall overclock. I need your advice on whether the cooling I'm thinking of will be sufficient as I understand these i7 chips can run quite hot.

I'm looking at buying this case:

Coolermaster CM-690 Dominator
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-145-CM&tool=3

It comes with 3 x 120mm fans as standard (left, front and rear) with the ability to add 120 or 140 mm fan x 2 to the top, a 120 mm fan to the bottom and and extra 120mm fan to the left (which would make a total of 2).

For the CPU cooler I'm considering the Corsair H50. I'm assuming that I'll attach the rear 120mm case fan to the H50 radiator.

The PSU will be a Seasonic which has its own 120mm fan.

With that cooler and the 3 standard 120mm case fans would that be sufficient? Or, with the H50 being used it seems to be recommended to draw air in to the case from outside over the radiator, so should I install an extra fan to push hot air out at the top?

I'd like to try and keep the system fairly quiet if possible. I'm not very experienced at cooling so any advice gratefully received. :)

ive got this exact case it cools ok tbh its got 1 front/side/back plus if u can get the 2 fans for 2 side/1back/1 top/1 front then itl do gr8. also make sure the 2 fans at the side are pulling in cool air and the top 1 since the case has gr8 ventilation.

btw thats a gr8 looking cooler, i might consider it with my 920 comp. if u can tell me the temps itl get then id rly appreciate it. Also make sure the fan u putin the cooler is pulling the air out (i think, check the manual)

Cheers
