So I recently posted a project build log found here and a lot of people mentioned about the potential cooling issues of the graphics cards.
Well guess what, they were right! The cards are getting crazy hot especially since the fans work as exhaust as apposed to pushing the air out of the rear of the card as I initially anticipated.
I consequently need some advice as to the best way forwards, I was considering purchasing some Corsair High Performance Fans and creating a positive airflow within the case, pulling in lots of cool air over the cards in a bid to move the hot air up and out of the top. I looked at the total cost and it equates to close to £250 for the number of fans I want to add.
So if I am going to spend such a sum of money, I wanted to do the job properly the first time. What about water cooling just my GPU's? With my case I have plenty of room to add a few radiators, a pump and reservoir however am not too sure if it will work.
What are your thoughts/opinions? Is it worth investing in air or simply switching to water?
I am concerned about voiding the warranty on the cards as well as potential leeks as this will be my first time doing a custom loop...
