Guys ,

Last month i built myself a nice new rig , I am now in the final stages of completing it by getting some braided cables and fans and just wanted some advice on case fan set up , I currently have a Corsair Hydro H100 and a Corsair Obsidian 800d Case , I want to replace all the fans so that it will match my colour theme and make the rig more quiet , My initial thoughts are two replace the H100 fans with Phobya Nano 2G and get three more to place at the top of my case and set up a push/pull config , i then wanted to replace the 800d stock fans with Bitfenix Spectre Fans , Any advice on the above , am i over seeing anything?

My Rig

GigaByte Z68 UD3H-B3

Crucial real SSD 128gb
XFX 850W PSU
Corsair Obsidian 800D case
Corsair Hydro H100 Extreme Liquid CPU Cooler
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD
Dell ultra Sharp u2711 Monitor.

are you going to have the top-rear 140mm fan in-taking or as an exhaust?

The problem with the 800D is it's very difficult to create positive air pressure. Due to the lack of intake fans.

I have the bottom 140 and rear 140 in-taking and a 360rad mounted to the top with 6x 120mm fans in push-pull exhausting.

Even then the GPU area gets really warm as its a bit of an airflow dead-spot.

That's probably the best way to do things. exhaust out the top and have everything else blowing in.
