hi everyone, main problem is my machine runs really quiet when just browsing the internet, but when i run a game roughly 5 mins in and the cpu fan gets really noisy. its a stock cooler i got with my system Acer Predator G3620. its recently had a new motherboard asrock z77 pro4-m. with a intel i5 cpu and i just installed a new gfx car EVGA GTX 760. the shop that replaced my mobo appears to have taken out the case fans, is that a problem pls, and what can i do to have a fairly quiet machine all the time. thx

You could look to replace the stock CPU cooler there are some very good Air and AIO options, as for removing the case fan was it noisy ??

i bought the system from new, it was really quiet even when playing games. and i knew there was a case fan well at least 1 cos i had a quick peek inside. the the pc died on me and i took it to a local pc repair shop, got it back and it was really noisy the cpu fan was on full. i have turned it down using the ASrock Extreme tuner. its really quit now, but as soon as i have a game running it goes back to full. could you please show me which fan i could get please thanks. CPU Temp when playing game 51C and CPU Fan Speed 4340

For Air look at

Noctua range

Phantek range

these get some good feedback if you want air cooling, just make sure you check you have the space to fit some of these as they are quite large.

For AIO

Corsair range

If you want an all in one ( AIO ) then look at the corsair range not much between the good air coolers and an AIO, I have an H80i and I went with this for its design.

But you do need to make sure you are getting good airflow through the case ..

What case fans do you have fitted now and how are they working ie intake and exhaust ??

You need case fans to have good airflow through case. Case fans need to move more air through case than CPU and GPU cooler fans use. If it does not, the cooler have to re-use their heated exhaust to try and stay cool .. and that doesn't work. ;)
