Recently my fan died, so decided to get a new one. Long story short, i ordered this fan; Arctic Cooling Alpine 64 CPU Cooler

And it doesn't fit my board at all. I have a GA-K8N Ultra-9 (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=1868) which i know is old, but still runs well. When trying to fit the fan, the fastening clips are around 5mm short either side
On top of that it comes as a 4pin connector, not 3, and won't fit on my board as it is too close to a cyclinder shaped bit (don't know what they are).
Surely being the same socket type it should have fit.. Any help appreciated.
