Cooling and PSU advice please.

Hi, just bought a new graphics card (Gainward Ultra 6800 GT Goes Like Hell, AGP) and a Athlon 64 3400(Newcastle). My questions are will my power supply (Antec 350w) be ok, I have a 400w unit somewhere if needed. And also will my CPU cooler/fan that came as standard on my Sempron 3100+ be ok to use on the Athlon (I was looking at the Akasa EVO 33 / Akasa 859 /Zalman 9500 as alternatives).

I make out you hit the 270W mark, you should be fine with that PSU although with that graphics card it is best to check what 12V rating the 6800GT requires. Can't seem to find this card on the website - http://www.gainward.net. The 400W might be needed what brand is this PSU (400W)?

Ugh. Probably won't have enough Amps at 12V tbh.

Q-TEC are a shambles! I wouldn't really advise letting that PSU power your system if the 350W fails to power the system sufficiently. The Antec is probably more likely to be far better than the 400W for its ratings. If the worst comes to the worst just purchase a 430W Akasa/FSP PSU.
