Cooling down question....

Probably a silly question. If I put my fan on the window sill and aim it out of the window, would it pull the hot air from out of my room and act as an exhaust thus cooling the room down?
Or am I better just pointing it at me lol?

Yeh windows are open in other bedrooms but theres a severe lack of breeze.
Will point the fan towards me then!
