cooling experience
hi. firstly this is not meant as a review,it's just my personal experiences with different coolers.i had an i7 930 clocked to 4ghz on a ud3r board which sat in my antec 300 case with a titan fenrir.i was getting around 90 degrees under load.so i bought a coolit eco alc and was still getting high 80's and sometimes into the 90's even with push/pull using 2 scythe kaze 2000rpm fans using arctic silver 5.both coolers were reseated a few times with the same results.all this was with a vcore of 1.25.can't afford custom water yet so i bought a coolermaster hafx and a noctua dh-d14.now i am getting idle temps of 37/32/37/32 with load temps highest of 70.bloody amazing.i love this noctua,it looks the nuts too.now i'm going to ramp up the overclock.lol
