Cooling Fan offer

Hi there I see this Cooling fan is on offer 'Zalman CNPS9700-LED Aero Flower (Socket AM2/939/754/775) CPU Cooler' :confused:

,can anyone give a review of it ? is it quiet ,thats the main thing ,as i,m not into overclocking .

Everything Zalman does is quiet. A friend of mine has the 9500, he likes it.

Apart from the 9700

Well, that isn't strictly true but it is not what I would consider silent, neither is my vf900 actually so I might just be picky (no, I don't have the 9700 but I have heard it). You would be better off with a scythe Ninja/Infinity/Thermalright HR-01/Thermalright Ultra 120 with a good 120mm fan. Should be quieter and perform the same or slightly better.

Or the Tuniq, and you can change the fan very easily on that. Just swapped out mine and added a Scythe S-Flex. Yet to plug it in to see how much better it is, but I'm confident it will out-perform the standard Tuniq fan.

thanks ,i also see that the Artic Freezer 7 gets good reviews ,is this any good ?
