Cooling help?

So I'm going to be upgrading to an Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) up from a Sandybridge and I plan on doing some overclocking. Anyone know any good fans they can recommend?

Wasn't sure if this would go here or in the Hardware section, my bad.

The Cooler Master Elite 430 case only has 163mm CPU height, the K2 height is 164mm, probably fit but I'm not sure, but the PH TC14CS CPU height is 138mm so it'll definitely fit without any problems

The NH-D14 is only 158mm high and on-par if not better than the k2, surpassing the TC14CS on the way.

What about Liquid Cooling? Or isn't that not so great for OCing?

It is really good for OCing though the CLC's (closed loop coolers) with results equal or better than the D14/K2 are atleast £15 more.. See below:

what's the noise like on these CLCs? just the same as fan cooling (depending on the fan installed?)

Yep, depends on the fans used. The corsair supplied fans are supposed to be a bit loud.

Yeah apparently the corsairs are loud, the went for performance over silence.

You may get a little noise from the pump as well, though you can RMA it if it's too loud.

I went for air cooling for the silence and cost benefits (its cheaper).
