ok not sure if in rite place so sorry if not.

ok i have a 6 fan controller and only my watercooler is not hooked to it just my fans, so this is my problem i want to hook the cooler fan to the controller but when i do so i keep getting the error that cpu cooler not connected on bios screen and i press any key and it just resets doing this over and over.

would one know what could be up as im playing bioshock and i can fill the heat from the rad due to the fan not going as fast too cool it.

spec
Corsair Hydro H60 V2
8gb ddr3 ram
asus 7770 <- card stays cooler than cpu
600w psu
AeroCool F6XT 6-Channel Fan Controller
asus p8b75-v
 
the fan on the cooler is a 4 pin socket and the controller uses 3/4pin,

if i unplug it from the motherboard and into the controller and power the pc up i just get that message that no fan plugged in for the cpu, so i have to plug the fan back in to the motherboard. it mite be a safty thing on the motherboards.

a mate does just what i want and does not have this problems but the cooler fan is plugged direct to the psu but i would not see this being a problem since its a psu and mine is just a controller as they are still both not plugged into the motherboard.

i tried speed fan and never understood it
 
you can turn off the warning I think for cpu fan header in the bios,its not detecting your cpu fan so it throws up a warning msg
 
thx for some odd reason i did not have that part in my book? ill do so and try

edit: ok worked but fan is very noisy even on low
