system specs

Mobo: asus p8p67 pro
RAM: Corsair Memory Vengeance Blue 8GB DDR3 1866 Mhz
CPU: i5 2500k
GPU: N560GTX-Ti Twin frozr 2

While running idle my CPU sits at around 40c but I have noticed that when running Battlefield 3 it hits 70c.

core temps
0: 63c
1: 68c
2: 69c
3: 63c
package: 70c

I suppose I have two questions really.

1) does running 70c under load seem normal (still has stock cooler)

2) What would be the best value for money cooler to lower this(space permitting)?
I did purchase a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus but I don't have a full size tower case (Xclio Godspeed Two Advanced) and the heat pipes from that blocked one of the side case fans so I had to remove it)

Thanks

70c with the stock cooler is fine :)

I'd just that fan if you've got it, it's good. Just remove the side fan if you have to, the CPU fan will make more of a difference anyway.

Thanks I think I'm going to order the Antec Kúhler H2O 620 today.

What is the best/easiest cleaner to remove the thermal paste from the CPU. Also I assume with it being a copper plate water cooler it will need a new spread of thermal paste?

Thanks
