Hi all,
I am wondering if my PC is running a bit warm. If it is, I'd like any pointers on how to cool it down. My rig is in my sig, but for the mobile users:
Case: Meshify C
Mobo: MSI X570 Tomahawk
Cpu: 5800X cooled with BQ! Dark Rock Slim
GPU: RTX 3080 FE
PSU: Focus PX-750
Memory: 8Pack 32GB DDR4 C16 3600MHZ
Storage: Corsair MP600 500GB / PNY CS 2130
The home office keeps fairly warm. Starts around 21C in the morning and then ramps up. It's currently almost 26C with the windows open thanks to the PC.
In an effort to get reliable temperatures, I have my work 3D CAD program open on one monitor, a graphics-intensive game on the other monitor, with two multi-tabbed Chromes open and a YT video playing for good measure. I also have a bunch of other programs open (Spotify, Discord and such like). Here are my current temps below (From HWInfo64), all in degrees C:
I have a pairing of Noctua NF-P12 Redux 1300 and 1700 fans for case intake on the front, and two 1300s on top and back for exhaust. I was initially wondering if upgrading the BQ Dark Rock Slim to a Dark Rock Pro 4 would help but with the main concern being the GPU I'm not sure I'd be changing the right thing just now.
Edit: I forgot to add, the GPU is set in Afterburner to 1920MHz/906mV
Any thoughts on this and tips on how to improve it?
