Hello Everyone Just Wondering If Someone Made Cooling Blocks For Nvidia Geforce 9800 GX2 Graffic Card?

I Know Its Not The Best Card In The World With 512mb Per Core. Atm While Im Building The Cash Up For Better Spec Hardware This Card Is Doing Well For Me So Far :)

With It In My PC now its giving me 2286MB approx by dxdiag
im only wondering as im not very happy with its running temps, ive stripped the card apart cleaned the fans fins ect as they havent been done in a while and its made a little difference but not a lot. it normally runs at 70'C to 73'C With web browser normal doodle on facebook.

Playing games like call of duty black ops 2, F1 2010, temp goes up to 80'C to 95'C depending on what im doing in the game.
its currently air cooled with default fans with my aftermarket 120mm fan x 35mm thickness fan that is firing cold are at the graffics card, altho rendering is very smooth in game play i think its too hot when its running.

wondering if anyone had some ideas? a friend said to remove outer housing to allow more air past reistors ect but it just looks so ugly bare, and destroys the overall apperance. im currently looking at upgrading everything and going water cooled route aiming for clear piping to see coloured antifreeze and led lighting :D

Hardware i have is

Asus Crosshair iii Formula AM3+ Socket
AMD Phemon ii X3 720 2.8GHz Processor Was 4Core Before (Put 3Core In To Processor Problems)
4GB single stick ram
NVidia Geforce 9800 GX2 1GB Graffics
2TB Sata HDD ( Split By 6 Sata HDD's)
using stock CPU heatsink and fan as alaska Bulky copper heatsink was weighing Board Down and causing no booting problems.
a vairious 60mm to 120mm fans in places for case cooling and air flow.

And Noting Is Over Clocked Yet because of heat issues and games wont allow me to run them if ive over clocked something :(

Any Help?
Kind Regards
Mark

Yes I'm fairly sure EK made blocks for the GX2, looks a bit tech to install as wasn't the GX2 two complete PCB's sandwiched together rather then the current standard we are used to on dual chip cards of all on one PCB?

Though I must say, if you are budgeting for water then get a replacement card thrown in too, you could pick up a GTX480 1.5GB complete with block for around £70 :)

Is your GX2 still working mine is still have that awful drivers issue where it only works with certain drivers and then in some people's computer it doesn't work at all :-(

I've got a 7950GX2 aswell, which has to be reseated at every boot up.

Im Looking At Spending Altogether About £800? should be enough for a decient build? i looked at the custom build websites choosing the top notch parts as you do managing to rack the bill to £20,000 and looking at it thinking why so much? and doing something like that i think destroys the fun out of building? with the 9800 because the card was so long i cut my old case up and removed the 3.5 bays out just to fit the card in. is there any good cases ive seen a few nzxt cases i like but not sure with the sizes?

i am thinking of using my old case and chopping it up more maybe mount the rad out side?

my gx2 runs perfectly atm it didnt at first when i rebuilt it when i dismantled it and not seated one of the boards down correctly it would over heat and cut out but ive sorted it now :)
