Cooling options, maybe water

Thoughts on the best way to cool a new 3570k and 7970. My initial thoughts was to opt for something like a Ghz or Lightening edition, but I might be better pumping some money into a water cool setup using some of the kits here as a base. The high end ATI scare me with noise, currently my 6790 runs very noisy.

Open to advice

Let me add that I currently have a Megahalems R2 and am not sure if it will fit the 1150. If it does I might just opt to keep it, although I am not sure how it compares to more modern coolers.

Megahalems is a very good cooler. Of course depends on what mount you have if it will fit 1150. If you have mount for 1155/1156 than it will fit 1150.

Most reviews ive seen say a big cooler with 2 fans such as noctua/phantek should function as well as an AIO watercooler, theyre just hideously big. I also asked about this on forumns.
