Hi everyone,
I am up and running with my new 3770K build:
mobo: Asus P8Z77-V PRO
cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE
case: white Corsair 600T
I have connected the 3 case fans to the case's fan controller. Should I connect them to the mobo headers instead so that they can be controlled by software such as Asus Fan Expert?
The cooler came with a black PWM adapter cable which I have used in the connection. Does this mean the fans can be speed controlled? I did not hear them increase RPM when I was doing a stabilty test with the CPU at load so not sure if it is working properly.
Sorry new to all this.
Thanks
