Hi all,

I have a titan Fenrir on my cpu (intel core 2 quad q6600) I was wondering if anyone knew whether I could fit it to a 1150 mainboard?

Or whether I'd need a part or a whole new cooler, I'm thinking of using to replace a stock cooler for an i5-4440.

Cheers!

I don't think so, not without a different bracket, anyway.
I've just done some Google-fu, and drawn a blank, so you may have to buy a new cooler...:(

Further Googlage is more encouraging. Something about 'universal clips to fit a wide range of sockets'. I think the answer may be to try it and see if it fits!

Yeah I did some googling and ended up realising I probably need to find out which overly long model number it is. some 775s seem no chance but they also have many universal ones too...

:( Try it and see isn't a great option really, but I can always use the stock one while I wait for a good one to arrive!

I've got the space.. but I laso have an old freezer pro, but I expect that getting a fitting bracket would end up costing almost as much as a new one lol
