hi all dont know what is the best way of setting up fans / h50 in my case at the mo i have two of the xigmatek fans . pulling air in to front of case . one of them for hard drives and one blowing towards the gtx card. my xigmatek case also has a big fan in the top blowing air out the top . plus i have the h50 on a push and pull out the back of the case .

here are my temps for my sig

cpu

core 0 31c
core 1 35c
core 2 30c
core 3 33c

gtx two screen one @ 1980 by 1920 and one @ 1680 by 1050

sits at about 48c

all hard drives sit @ 31 / 32 c
and says my ssd drive is @ 1 c lol :)

Hey, I think the Corsair website/manual specifies that the best configuration is to Pull from the back of the case and blow into the case. (would recomend an exhaust fan on the top of the case though to draw the heat away from everything else though)

This is the configuration i'm running at the moment. just having a few temp probems though, i took off the thermal paste corsair supplied and added some Ic Diamond 7 (which i thought would improve temps) This isn't the case. it added a few degrees so a Word of warning for you :).

But other than the, idle temps of 31 - 35 degrees seems good for your processor considering mines the I7, running at 3.8ghz,with the h70 on... and i'm idling around 36 degrees...

the only thing is when i play crysis 2 my gtx card is getting to 70/ 80c

I'd say that is fairly normal/good temps for the Corsair H50. I have Coolermaster HAF 922 using standard fans, and I get around those temps with my i5-2500k. The thing to look at with the H50 is how it maintains temps rather than making them extremely low/cool at idle. I know that with fan coolers the temps can start low but they tend to get much higher under load. With the H50 it's more stabilised.

Also, GFX card temps are about normal for that card. Mine goes up to 70-80 under load in certain games that stress the GPU, like Metro 2033 and Crysis. Others that are more about CPU like HL2 source engine games, the GPU temps are not affected as much and are lower. The GTX 480 is quite power hungry and tends to be warmer than most other gfx cards anyway (well, most editions).

I would say your temps are not anything to be concerned about.:)
