CoolIT ECO Install

My new ECO should be coming in the next hour or so from OCUK via DPD next day delivery. Once it is here, ill take some pictures of the box and its contents, the case its going to go in and then i'll go ahead and install the thing. I will provide pictures of before/after. I have my articlean solution ready to clean the CPU of gunk, all my tools etc.....god im so pumped *bad pun*

It didnt heh..im finally back online...for future reference...the CM690 does not have enough room to support this cooler. The rad was too thick and the backing plate area basically stopped it from being installed.

i've got one in my antec 300.not happy with the temps though.going to install a noctua nh-d14 tomorrow if it arrives.i think it will give me lower temps

Gutted for you mate

my CoolIt Vantage arrived today but I'm too shattered to attempt anything that could potentially destroy my computer at the moment. I've had a look and even the 120mm version is fairly sizeable in relation to my CM Elite 430 (I opted against buying the Eco 240mm because the rad would not fit between my motherboard's RAM sockets and the top of the case).

Why not return it for a CoolIt Vantage? If you like I'll post some installation pics and temperature comparisons for you to mull over.

Contacted OcUK...gonna see if they will swap it for the Vantage if not...someone in the members market will get a bargain...ill sell it and get the vantage anyway

Do you have any pictures of the problem you were having? If the ECO doesn't fit, I'm not sure getting a Vantage will be any better.

Edit: Just realised you meant the ECO 240. Ignore me

Lol its ok Helios, Barrodle made the same mistake. It's no biggie thou, Clairvoyant is possibly going to buy this off me from the MM and I'll be able to get the regular ECO.
