CoolIT Eco making noises! eeek!

Ive had a CoolIT Eco happily cooling my cpu for nearly 3 years now, today its making a noise it didnt before.... like a high pitched clicking, im guessing the pump is on its way out and i should stick the intel heatsink back on before it explodes or something?

Money is tight at the moment so can anyone recommend a good socket 1366 cooler for under £30 that can handle a 3.6ghz overclock on an I7 930?

Nothing terrible will happen if the pump dies. At some point your computer will switch off unexpectedly, which you'll swiftly diagnose by touching the coolit and burning yourself. Computer will be fine.

Or if your willing to go secondhand, a Thermalright ultra extreme 120 can be had below thirty quid, have one on my 2nd rig, an i7 930 at 4.3ghz.
