Just had alook at the price of one of these about £170  > Coolit Omni A.L.C Liquid Cooling System depending on your GPU, so if you also buy one for your CPU > CoolIT Eco A.L.C. CPU Watercooler £56. That comes to £226 for the sake of a extra £80, you can make up a custom loop better components thus better cooling > ;)

I was like most people thinking it was hard to do but l asked for advice from the more knowledegeable guys in this forum > read up on water cooling, read the sticky[H2o cooling, researched components. Then asked advice about things l was not sure of, took my time building it and just had a couple of leaks easy to sort out.

If you can build a PC you can build a custom loop and get a load of saticfaction when the jobs done..:D

I was interested until I saw the price. The other thing is once you invest you are completely at their mercy for future cards and them making new plates. What if they scrap the idea? You are left with a dead product.

I don't think custom cooling will die out in a hurry , if you read this section more members are building custom loops, EK who build very good water cooling blocks usually have one out in a couple of weeks after the card is launched.

I went from a water cooled 5870 to a 470 cost about £70 for a new water full cover waterblock. Look what you can spend on a custom air cooled GPU one was £50 extra so for £20 more for my block better temps and a deadly silent PC. My CPU is also water cooled as well as the GPU and another bonous you don't worry about your temps when we get hot spells, some people actualy turn down their overclocks down because this....;)

My cpu > 4.2GB / GPU > 850/1700/2000 [stock 607/1214/1674] on air Core Clock > 700 to 800 overclock.
