Anybody heard of this stuff?

Tests say its better than AS5 but I'm not so sure

Isn't this the stuff that eats copper when applied to a copper heatsink? Its looks like the same stuff.

edit: This is different in the second link they are applying it to a copper heatsink, hmmm would be interest to read any reviews anyone has.
 
I tried it initially, it was difficult to apply and temps were approx 36 idle. Following day got some AS5, redid the whole lot and temps have been approx 29-33 idle depening on room temp.
 
Just a thought, but they specifed not using an aluminuim HSF!
Is the heat spreader on the Opterons not aluminuim?
If it is how would it affect it, EAt it as well? :rolleyes:

hmm wonder how this stuff would perform in a water cooling set-up ? assuming you had a copper rand and blocks and nothing Aluminium in the system :D. would be pretty nice to find out.
