COPA America 2011

Brazil were rubbish at actually finding the back of the net though - Robinho, Pato and Neymar all had chances they should have done a lot better with. Just one of those days I guess.

Another lack laster round of games.

Chile 2- 1 Mexico
Uraguay 1 - 1 Peru

theres nothing in this tournament so far. No one has shown they really want to win it.

Next game is on friday - Argentina V Columbia - 1:45am.

I've watched a few matches so far and it's not been a good advertisement for South American football from what I've seen, hopefully it will open up in the knockout stages.

Brazil held out to a 0-0 draw last night. Brazil had so many chances they could have gone into double digits on the score board.

In all fairness they should have had a penalty at the end of the first half but the ref didnt give it but yes they werent that good especially moreso in the 2nd half...they started strongly in the first half but didnt make the most of their chances.

Group stages in international tournaments are always kinda dull. The real tournament starts at the knock out stage. Same goes for the Champions league too to be honest.

Another Brazil/Argy match would be interesting now that Messi is known as the best player in the world. In 2007, Argentina werent the same team they are now, same goes for Brazil.

Why couldn't He shoot like this against United ? :D

Probably less pressure on him when he's playing in a world class team like Barcelona, with Argentina everybody is expecting him to do something magical all the time even though the opposition team can mark him easier as they don't have to defend against the best midfield in the world.

P.S. Looking forward to the Uruguay v Chile game tonight, hopefully plenty of goals.
