Went a few years back and really enjoyed it, my son found his love of fairground rides at Tivoli Gardens, well worth a visit.
The meat packing district (I think thats what it is called) was great, best burger I ever had was in a place called Tommi's, loads of places ot
We went to a place called Mash where we had a really nice meal too, mid range I guess but pretty good anyway, the food is really good in general wherever you go.
We stayed in the Tivoli hotel which was ok, rooms were really nice but there was an iffy smell....even before I got there.
Roskilde is worth a visit if you like Viking history.
Mermaid statue....well go if you want but usually mobbed and not really worth the hassle IMHO.
People are generally really nice, city is really clean and has loads to do, loved it and will deffo be back at some point, even if just for a burger at Tommis lol.
Oh when I was there every bloke thought he was Ragnar Lothbrok, loads of guys with the hairdo all bombing around on leccy scooters, looked like great fun tbh.
