Don't normally go in for police bashing but stealing from a dead motorcyclist, or anyone else for that matter...wtf ? The levels some people stoop to.

Hope he gets what he deserves in prison but he will more than likely get suspended sentence due to him being "at risk" ....

The trooper has since entered an Alford plea, meaning he does not admit to the charges but accepts that the evidence the prosecution has would be likely to persuade a judge or jury to find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

So proves hes guilty then?....

I'm sure he will get a visit or two from a big bunch of greasy lads with big beards and bandanas, but are "in no way are affiliated with motorcycling or any kind of riding enthusiasts' club...honest, guv"!!

The cop could at least have pilfered some drug money off a dealer or something and put that to good use instead of robbing corpses!!!

No, just accepts all evidence suggests he's guilty. I'm not sure what an Alford plea actually achieves in us law.

It's usually used by defendants to attempt to reduce the severity of the punishment they would otherwise receive. It was originally used to escape a possible death penalty for murder.
